To read about how to play President, select "Info: Instructions" in the menu. To read about the preference settings, tap on the "i" in the upper right corner of the Preferences window. Changing the Exchange Cards preference setting after the 1st game of the match will require the start of a new game. At the end of each game, the Match Score window will be displayed. The bolded rank is the rank that you have just achieved. In the scoring windows, the games column is denoted in the following format: X/Y, where X is the number of games won and Y is the total number of games played during the current match. In the Match Score window, "Game Bonus" denotes bonus points received in the last game. "Previous Bonus" denotes total bonus points received in all games prior to the last game. If you achieve a new high score, the High Score window will be displayed. The bolded high score is the score that you have just achieved. The Up and Down scroll buttons on the Palm handheld can be used to Play/Lead and Pass, respectively. Writing the letter 'n' in the graffiti area will start a new game. Each time you exit President, it will save the current game and allow you to resume playing it when you start the application again. If you start a new match in the middle of the current match, the games you have finished in the current match will be added to the statistics. To reset (erase) the high scores or statistics, tap the Reset button at the bottom of each window. To view the registration status, select "Info: About President" in the menu.
