- If you are a registered MyWeek user and would like to receive version update e-mails without joining the MyWeek Yahoo Group, contact us, and we will add you to the MyWeek Yahoo Group mailing list. We will set your Message Delivery options to "Special notices" so that you will only receive special notice e-mails and not e-mails containing posts to the group. You will receive an e-mail confirming that you have been added to the group.
- When viewing the current week, the current day header will be highlighted.
- To quickly access MyWeek, set your Date Book button to run MyWeek and create Date Book items from within MyWeek. You can also tap and hold on the day headers in MyWeek to jump directly to any day in Date Book. To find out how to set your Date Book button, visit our Support area.
- To quickly create an item on a specific day, tap on the day header for that day.
- If one of the buttons on your Palm handheld is set to run MyWeek, pressing it from within MyWeek will allow you to toggle between the day view, week view, and the list of undated To Do items.
- To set the location for a Date Book item, tap the "L" button to the right of the Date. (Palm OS 5.2.1 and higher only)
- If the "Buttons scroll" preference is set to "Week" or "Items," pressing the center of the Palm 5-way navigator button will allow you to toggle between the day view, week view, and the list of undated To Do items.
- If the "Jog Dial scrolls" preference is set to "Week" or "Items," pushing the Sony Jog Dial will allow you to toggle between the day view, week view, and the list of undated To Do items.
- When toggling between views using one of the three methods listed above, the list of undated To Do items will be skipped if there are no undated To Do items in your To Do List.
- If the "Buttons scroll" preference is set to "Week" or "Items," pressing left or right on the Palm 5-way navigator button will allow you to flip weeks or days, depending on the view you are in.
- If the "Buttons scroll" preference is set to "Selection," pressing left, right, up, or down on the Palm 5-way navigator button will allow you to select each day header and item in sequence. Selected day headers will be indicated by a small right arrow at the left edge of the header. Selected items will be displayed in bold text. Once a day header or item is selected, pressing the center button on the 5-way navigator will allow you to create items, expand to the day view, or edit items.
- If the "Jog Dial scrolls" preference is set to "Selection," once a day header or item is selected, pushing the Sony Jog Dial will allow you to create items, expand to the day view, or edit items.
- In the undated To Do items view, pressing left or right on the Palm 5-way navigator button will allow you to cycle backward or forward through each category.
- The "Jump to today" graffiti shortcut (t) can be used to jump from the list of undated To Do items directly to the current day or week, depending on whether you were last in the day or week view.
- If the "Show week number in title bar" preference is checked, the last two digits of the year followed by the week number will be displayed in the title bar.
- When creating or editing an item, selecting "Options: Phone Lookup" in the menu or writing a
in the graffiti area and tapping on the phone icon will allow you to access the Phone Lookup functionality available in the built-in To Do List and Date Book applications.
- Double-tapping on the detail line will take you directly to that item in the To Do List or Date Book.
- Tapping on the alarm or repeating icon in the detail line will allow you to edit an item.
- When creating a new Date Book item from the week view, the date will default to "Today," and the category will default to the category of the last new Date Book item created in the day or week view.
- When creating a new Date Book item from the day view, the date will default to the day you are viewing, and the category will default to the category of the last new Date Book item created in the day or week view.
- When creating a new To Do item from the week view, the due date will default to "Today," and the category will default to the category of the last new To Do item created in the day or week view.
- When creating a new To Do item from the day view, the due date will default to the day you are viewing, and the category will default to the category of the last new To Do item created in the day or week view.
- When creating a new To Do item from the list of undated To Do items, the due date will default to "No date," and the category will default to the category you are viewing.
- When a Date Book item is created, moved to a new day, rescheduled to a new time, or set to a new repeat frequency, it will be placed above all other Date Book items of the same rank for that day.
- When a To Do item is created, moved to a new day, or modified in a way that affects its sorting order, it will be placed above all other To Do items of the same sorting priority for that day.
- When editing Date Book and To Do items, any changes made to the note will always be saved, regardless of whether you cancel out of the edit window.
- If the "Week starts" preference is set to "Today" and the "Remember weekend view" option is checked, the weekend view will only be remembered for the duration of the current day.
- Each time you view the list of undated To Do items, the category you were viewing last will be displayed.
- In the day view, items can be moved to the previous or next day by dragging them onto the left/right arrows at the top right of the screen.
- To view the registration status, select "Info: About MyWeek" in the menu.
